Pune Municipal Corporation Requests 6-Month Extension for 24x7 Water Scheme

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has formally requested a six-month extension to complete its ambitious 24x7 water supply scheme. The project, aimed at providing round-the-clock water availability to residents, has faced delays, prompting the need for additional time.

Originally scheduled for completion within a specific timeframe, the PMC cited unforeseen challenges and logistical issues as reasons for the delay. The six-month extension is sought to address these issues and ensure the successful implementation of the 24x7 water supply initiative.

The project holds significant importance for the city, aiming to enhance the overall water infrastructure and provide a more reliable water supply to residents. The extension request indicates the municipality's commitment to overcoming hurdles and delivering a robust and sustainable water distribution system.

PMC officials have assured that despite the extension, efforts will be intensified to expedite the remaining work and meet the revised deadline. The 24x7 water supply scheme remains a priority for the municipal corporation, and the extension is viewed as a strategic measure to ensure the project's successful and effective implementation.
