MCL surpasses highest ever annual coal production of 168.17 MT

One of the major coal-producing company of India and the Coal India arm, Mahandi Coalfields (MCL) is growing at 16% in coal production. The PSU has surpassed the previous record of 168.17 MT set in 2021-22, by reaching 168.61 MT.

The company have 40 more days to achieve its biggest milestone in 2022-23. As on date, MCL registered the coal production growth of 16%. Opencast mines also surpassed the record 167.68 MT coal production.
