Adani Green Crosses 15 GW In Renewable Capacity

Adani Green EnergyLtd (AGEL) has exceeded 15gigawatts (GW) of operational renewable capacity, reaching 15,539.9megawatts (MW). The portfolio now comprises about 11,005.5MW of solar installations, 1,977.8MW of standalone wind assets, and 2,556.6MW of wind‑solar hybrid projects.

Chief executive AshishKhanna hailed the milestone as a moment of immense pride, crediting the achievement to the companys workforce, investors and partners. AGEL has pledged to accelerate from the current 15GW towards 50GW by the end of the decade, underpinning its mission to deliver affordable, sustainable energy in India and abroad.

At today’s scale, the operating fleet can power roughly 7.9million Indian homes each year while avoiding an estimated 31milliontonnes of carbon‑dioxide emissions. AGELs expansion plan will extend renewable electricity to thirteen states, with a goal of supplying the entire north‑eastern region solely through clean power.
