HSAMB Invites Bids For 1308 kW Rooftop Solar In Haryana

The Haryana State Agriculture Marketing Board (HSAMB) has invited online competitive bids for the installation of rooftop solar power plants across Market Committee facilities in Haryana. The project is being executed by the board, Panchkula, with supervision by the Electrical Division in Rohtak. The tender issued in the name of the Governor covers government-linked buildings and pre-engineered building sheds and aims to expand solar infrastructure across the state. The tender states supply, installation, testing and commissioning of rooftop solar systems with a combined capacity of 1308 kilowatt (kW). The estimated project cost has been fixed at Rs 55.129 million (mn). Bidders must quote for the entire project capacity, and partial bids will not be accepted during evaluation.\n\nTender notice was issued on May 19, 2026, and bidding documents were available the same day on the e-tendering portal. Interested contractors, firms and cooperative societies are required to submit technical and financial bids online before June 5, 2026, up to 12:00 PM; technical bid evaluation will begin the same day at 2:00 PM at the Electrical Division office in Rohtak. The selected contractor is required to complete the full project within seven months from allotment. Tender conditions specify bid validity for 120 days from the closing date, making October 3, 2026, the final validity date. Applicants must pay a non-refundable tender document fee of Rs 20,000 and an e-service fee of Rs 1,180. Registered contractors under the Haryana Engineering Works Portal are exempt from cash security, subject to uploading an Earnest Money Declaration Form; unregistered contractors must deposit the EMD online with amounts fixed at Rs 1,102,600 for independent contractors and Rs 551,300 for cooperative societies. A performance bank guarantee equal to five per cent of the accepted contract value must be submitted within fifteen days of the letter of acceptance, with cooperative construction societies allowed a reduced ceiling of two and a half per cent, and the security must remain valid for forty five days beyond the defect liability and maintenance period.
