JDVVNL Tenders 65.96 MW Solar Projects in Bikaner

Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam (JDVVNL) has initiated two tenders to develop 65.96 MW of solar power projects across different subdivisions in Bikaner. This falls under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha Evam Utthan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) program, targeting feeder-level solarization.

The first tender encompasses 34.24 MW solar projects across Khajuwala and Chattargarh subdivisions under Bikaner (DC) circle. The second tender covers 31.72 MW solar projects in Bajju, Lunkaransar, and rural Bikaner subdivisions under the Bikaner (DC) circle.

The projects will be executed under the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model, involving planning, installation, testing, and maintenance for 25 years. The scope also includes establishing connecting lines and a remote monitoring system.

Bids must be submitted by September 26, 2023, with an earnest money deposit of ₹100,000/MW. The successful bidder will provide a performance bank guarantee of ₹500,000/MW.

A power purchase agreement with Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (RUVNL) will be signed within seven days of submitting the PBG, adhering to tariff regulations by the Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission (RERC).

Project commissioning must occur within nine months of the PPA signing, followed by 25 years of operation and maintenance.

Individual bidders must confirm land ownership, while other entities need to show relevant financial turnover. JDVVNL previously floated three tenders for 108 grid-connected solar projects totalling 295.32 MW under the PM-KUSUM program.
