K.P. Energy Limited has received a Letter of Award from JK Paper Limited for the development of a 91.4 megawatt (MW) wind-solar hybrid power project in Gujarat. The project has been awarded on a complete turnkey basis and encompasses end-to-end activities including engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning. The scope also covers the development of evacuation infrastructure and enabling grid connectivity. The award was communicated through a formal filing to the stock exchanges.

The scope of work includes obtaining all requisite statutory and regulatory clearances and providing operation and maintenance for the Balance of Plant (BoP) of the wind capacity and for the complete installed capacity of the solar component. The company will undertake facilitation of permissions and interfaces with grid authorities as part of the contract. The turnkey mandate places responsibility for both supply chain coordination and on-site delivery with the contractor.

The award reflects K.P. Energy Limited's established execution capabilities in delivering integrated wind-solar hybrid projects and is expected to strengthen its position in the renewable energy sector. The contract enhances execution visibility for the company and demonstrates traction in domestic infrastructure awards. The order has been received from a domestic entity and has been characterised as a Letter of Award.

Details required under the listing regulations have been furnished in an annexure to the exchange filing and the project is to be executed as per timelines stipulated in the Letter of Award. The company has indicated that neither the promoter group nor group companies have any interest in the entity that awarded the contract and that the order does not fall within related party transactions. The announcement was signed by a whole time director for regulatory and investor information purposes.
