CII’s road show to announce CII EXCON in Bengaluru

Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) had organised a roadshow in Bengaluru for the announcement of their CII EXCON in the presence of senior officials from the Government, industry leaders, and stakeholders in the sector of infrastructure and construction equipment.

South Asia’s largest construction equipment and construction tech trade fair- EXCON 2021 organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)will be held at the Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre from 17 – 21 May 2022.

EXCON 2021 will cover over 3,00,000 sq m of display area. It is expected to attract over thousands of exhibitors from India along with countries like the USA, UK, UAE, Germany, Italy, France, Sri Lanka, South Korea, and Singapore. The 5-day exhibition will attract 40,000 business visitors around the globe.

Schwing Stetter (India) Private Limited, EXCON Steering Committee Member and Managing Director, V G Sakthi Kumar said this is EXCON’s eleventh edition and this year’s theme is ‘Building India for a New World: Competitiveness, Growth, Sustainability, Technology. They will exemplify the role of innovation and smart technologies in the infrastructure development of India to make India the global hub for ‘Construction Equipment Manufacturing’ by 2030.

Currently, India holds a prominent position in the global Construction Equipment landscape as it is the third-largest market in the world. The Indian Government’s Rs 111 lakh crore National Infrastructure Pipeline will help the CE industry to become the second-largest CE market in the world.
