Big 5 Global 2023: MEASA's Premier Construction Event

The Big 5 Global, the MEASA region's most significant construction industry event, is scheduled to take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from December 4 to 7, 2023. The event, open for participant registrations, aims to host over 2,200 exhibitors and draw more than 68,000 attendees from 150+ countries, providing a platform for networking, partnerships, and knowledge exchange. This year, it promises to unite the entire construction sector, from contractors to innovators and policymakers, contributing to the industry's growth.

Construction Booms in MEASA: The construction industry in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia (MEASA) is booming, boasting active projects worth over $7 trillion and recently awarded projects valued at $3.8 trillion, as per ABiQ data. Implementation Status of Jal Jeevan Mission

Since August 2019 the Government has implemented Jal Jeevan Mission to provide assured potable water through household tap connections in rural India. At the start of the mission only 32.3 million (mn) rural households, representing 16.7 per cent, were reported to have tap water connections. The Government reported substantial progress under the Jal Jeevan Mission, launched in August 2019 to provide tap water to every rural household. At launch only 32.3 million (mn) rural households had tap connections and states and Union territories reported provision of 125.8 mn additional households by March 2026.
