GREENEXT Expo 2025 Showcases Sustainability as a Business Driver

The GREENEXT Expo 2025 concluded successfully on September 27 at the Shanghai Exhibition Center, reaffirming its status as one of China’s most influential platforms for sustainability transformation. The two-day event positioned sustainability as a tangible business strategy, bringing together over 120 global enterprises and organisations, and attracting 5,022 attendees.

Shanghai, September 27, 2025 – The 2025 edition of GREENEXT Expo, China’s leading greening and accelerator platform, focused on the pillars of Sustainability Innovation × Cross-Sector Collaboration × Business. The event’s core theme revolved around transforming sustainability from abstract discussion into actionable practice.

Practical Solutions for Real-World Impact GREENEXT 2025 featured more than 200 scalable solutions across six thematic zones, highlighting innovation in key sectors:

"Fashion Forward: Presented circular economy models for textiles, with participation from global brands such as adidas and the Ellassay Group. " Living Earth: Explored regenerative connections between nature and commerce, featuring transparent “field to bottle” supply chains from exhibitors like The Macallan. " Green for Next: Focused on corporate resilience, ESG disclosure, and low-carbon manufacturing, with contributions from HKRI Taikoo Hui and Tencent CarbonXmade.

The Expo also examined four emerging commercial scenarios — Urban Regeneration, Global Expansion, Technological Innovation, and Public Good Integration — reflecting how sustainability drives long-term competitiveness.

The conference hosted 183 experts across 77 sessions, fostering global cooperation through participation from diplomatic representatives of Finland, Norway, Belgium, and Denmark. Discussions redefined premium commerce through sustainability.

Barabanki Bahraich Six Lane Highway Approved in Uttar Pradesh

The Uttar Pradesh government has approved construction of a new six-lane highway linking Barabanki and Bahraich as part of National Highway 927, and the cabinet has cleared the project.
