Rajasthan ACB Steps Up Hunt For Retired IAS Over Rs Nine bn Scam

The Rajasthan Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has intensified its search in Jaipur for a retired Indian Administrative Service officer suspected to be linked to alleged misappropriation of public funds in the Jal Jeevan scheme amounting to Rs nine billion (Rs nine bn). The probe relates to contracts and disbursements for rural water supply projects and has prompted renewed scrutiny of approvals and audit trails associated with the programme.
