Adani Airports Partners With AIONOS for AI Passenger Support

Adani Airport Holdings Ltd (AAHL) has partnered with AIONOS, a subsidiary of InterGlobe Enterprises, to deploy an artificial intelligence-driven passenger engagement system across its airport network. The collaboration, formalised in New Delhi, aims to provide personalised, multilingual, and real-time support to flyers as Indian airports embrace digital innovation to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

According to the company, the new AI-powered platform will act as a “24x7 intelligent concierge”, allowing travellers to instantly access flight updates, gate information, baggage tracking, navigation assistance, and airport services through multiple channels — including voice, chat, and mobile. Initially available in English and Hindi, the service will later expand to other regional languages.

Arun Bansal, CEO of Adani Airport Holdings Ltd, said the deployment marks a significant step in improving passenger experience. “With this integration, we are advancing towards a seamless, intelligent, and inclusive airport ecosystem,” he stated.

The AIONOS agentic AI platform will integrate with AAHL’s existing digital infrastructure — including Aviio, Adani OneApp, and Airport-in-a-Box — creating a unified system to enhance communication between travellers and airport support teams throughout the journey.

AAHL currently operates seven major airports — in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Guwahati, Jaipur, and Thiruvananthapuram — and will soon begin operations at the Navi Mumbai International Airport.

The partnership highlights the accelerating digital transformation of India’s aviation sector, where airport operators are adopting AI, automation, and data-driven systems to deliver efficient, personalised, and inclusive passenger services amid rapidly rising air traffic.
