IRB Infrastructure Toll Revenue Rises 11 Per Cent in September

IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd reported an 11 per cent year-on-year rise in toll revenue, reaching Rs 5.57 billion in September 2025, compared to Rs 5.02 billion in the same month last year, the company said in a filing to the stock exchange.

Among its 17 toll projects, the IRB MP Expressway in Maharashtra contributed the largest share at Rs 1.39 billion, up from Rs 1.37 billion in September 2024.

The IRB Golconda Expressway (Hyderabad ORR) followed as the second-highest contributor, generating Rs 704 million, compared to Rs 607 million a year earlier. The IRB Ahmedabad–Vadodara Super Express Tollway ranked third with Rs 675 million in collections, up from Rs 584 million in the same month last year.

Additionally, the Lalitpur–Lakhnadon NH44 project, added in 2024, recorded Rs 372 million in toll revenue in September, up from Rs 346 million in the year-ago period.

“Despite the extended monsoon affecting traffic, September 2025 toll revenue rose by 11 per cent, showing notable resilience. The GST reform implemented in late September led to temporary softness in goods movement, slightly moderating the upside. However, the festive season ahead is expected to sustain growth,” said Amitabh Murarka, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of IRB Infrastructure.

IRB Infrastructure, India’s largest integrated private toll roads and highways developer, has an asset base exceeding Rs 800 billion across 12 states. The company continues to strengthen its leadership position in the build-operate-transfer (BOT) and toll-operate-transfer (TOT) segments, contributing to India’s growing highway infrastructure network.
