MPLADS Funds Used For Road Project In Aswaraopalli

The Kaladhar Rao Foundation (the Foundation) inaugurated a new road in Aswaraopalli using Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) funds provided by Suresh Reddy. The inauguration was presided over by Sarpanch Ponnaganti Chaitanya Raju and attended by the Deputy Sarpanch, ward members, local leaders and villagers. The Foundation chairman, Kaladhar Rao, reaffirmed the organisation's commitment to rural development in keeping with the ideals of the late Potlapalli Kamala Manohar Rao.

The structure is expected to improve connectivity within the Aswaraopalli gram panchayat and ease daily travel for residents, including improved access to schools, health facilities and local markets. The Foundation expressed gratitude to Suresh Reddy for his support in securing MPLADS assistance that enabled the work. The project cost was Rs 3.7 mn and has been listed among Jangaon district development works associated with the Foundation. Local leaders noted the practical benefits of the upgrade for routine agricultural and commercial activity.

The Foundation has undertaken similar local initiatives in the past and the inauguration forms part of a continuing programme of community projects targeted at infrastructure and welfare. By investing in transport links the Foundation intends to reduce isolation during monsoon months and to support steady economic activity for smallholders and traders. The attendance by elected village representatives underlined the collaborative nature of the work and the local administration has been engaged in supervising execution and maintenance plans.

The Foundation signalled that further work will be considered in consultation with village bodies to address priority needs without prescribing a fixed timetable. The ceremony and completion of the road were presented as evidence of the practical application of development funds when channelled through established schemes and local partners. Residents welcomed the upgrade and pledged to assist with minor upkeep, while the Foundation said it would monitor the road's condition and the outcomes for mobility and livelihoods.
