Bids Invited For Rolling Stock Maintenance Contract Of Nagpur Metro

The Nagpur Metro authority has invited bids for a rolling stock maintenance contract that is intended to support reliable and safe metro operations. The tender covers routine preventive maintenance, corrective repairs and periodic overhauls for the metro fleet and associated depot equipment. The procurement is designed to appoint a contractor to manage maintenance schedules, inspections and lifecycle upkeep of trainsets while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational safety. The contract is intended to align maintenance practices with modern standards.

The scope is expected to include on?board system maintenance, wheel and brake inspections, traction and auxiliary system checks, component refurbishment and spare parts management. Bidders are required to demonstrate technical capability, proven experience in urban rail maintenance and sufficient workshop facilities to undertake depot level repairs. The authority will seek firms that can provide trained maintenance personnel, diagnostic tools and a robust supply chain for critical spares. Safety management systems and documentation will form a key part.
