Chennai Metro Awards Rs 1,138 Million Contract For OMR Grade Separators

Chennai Metro Rail Limited has awarded a contract to M Rajkumar for the design and construction of grade separators at Perungudi Junction and SRP Tools Junction on the Old Mahabalipuram Road corridor. The contract is valued at Rs 1,138 million (mn) and has been framed to address persistent traffic congestion on the corridor. The project has been commissioned to complement ongoing elevated metro works and to improve traffic flow at two critical junctions.
