Godrej & Boyce Wins Rs One Billion Kochi Metro Phase Two Contracts

Godrej & Boyce has secured contracts valued at over Rs one billion (bn) for station works on Kochi Metro Phase two. The company said the awards form part of a package for extension works on the Kerala rapid transit project and will add to its rail infrastructure portfolio. The announcement was made through its corporate release and reflects continued order flow for metro projects.

The scope of the contracts covers station construction and associated works along the Phase two alignment. The firm said the assignments will include civil works, architectural finishes and integration of station systems to meet operational requirements. The company said it will engage local supply chains and specialist subcontractors to deliver the work under its supervision and quality protocols.

Kochi Metro Phase two is intended to expand the network and improve connectivity across the city and surrounding suburbs.
