Noida to receive a new skywalk worth Rs 250 mn

According to the Noida Authority, work on the skywalk that would link the metro stations in Noida Sector 52 and Sector 51 has progressed. While Sector 52 is found on the Blue Line, Sector 51 is found on the Aqua Line. For individuals who must change lines to get between the two stations, a rickshaw or an autorickshaw is necessary. With the skywalk, the Noida Authority intends to alleviate this problem.

The Noida Authority has selected the project's agency. Inside the skywalk, a travelator with an automatic 5 m/s speed will also be placed. The government will put the travelator up for auction.

The skywalk will be completely air conditioned. The structure will cost approximately Rs 250 million. It will occupy approximately 480 meters of the skywalk. It will be completely waterproof.

The skywalk will benefit a large number of people. The Noida Authority will issue a DPR for the situation soon. Construction will take approximately five months.

The Skywalk will be 420 meters long and 5 meters wide, with a travelator that moves at 0.5 meters per second. The Skywalk is being built in the shape of a "L" because land next to the stations was given to a private company. The Skywalk would increase Aqua Line traffic by making it easier for commuters to travel between the Delhi and Noida Metro stations.
