Trial Run of Metro Feeder Service to Cusat Begins in Kochi

A trial run for a feeder bus service to the Cusat campus has begun as part of efforts to promote the Kochi Metro system.

The trial run precedes the planned introduction of regular bus services to the campus. The service will start at Kalamassery Town Metro Station, passing through Toshiba Junction, the Cusat School of Engineering main campus, and the Amenity Centre, before returning to Kalamassery Town via the same route.

Three trips in both the morning and evening are planned for the trial phase. The service was welcomed by Cusat staff and teachers, who expressed support for the initiative. Regular services are expected to begin next week.
