V Somanna appointed as Railway State Minister

V Somanna assumed office as the Minister of State for Railways at Rail Bhawan. He was warmly received by senior railway officials, including Jaya Varma Singh, CEO, Railway Board. Somanna, representing Tumkur in Karnataka in the Lok Sabha, expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP for entrusting him with this ministerial role. He highlighted the significant progress made by the railways in the past decade under PM Narendra Modi's leadership and emphasised continuing this momentum into Modi 3.0. Somanna expressed enthusiasm about working under the guidance of Union Railways Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw and contributing to the development of Railways and Viksit Bharat.
