Envision Energy India Secures 501.6 MW Wind Turbine Order from Evren

Envision Energy India has announced a major new partnership with renewable energy developer Evren, securing a 501.6 MW order for its advanced wind turbine technology. The agreement includes the supply of approximately 152 units of Envision’s EN 156/3.3 MW Smart Wind Turbines, which will be deployed at a wind project site in Andhra Pradesh.

Evren, backed by the Brookfield Global Transition Fund (BGTF), is scaling up its renewable energy footprint across India, with ambitions to develop over 10 GW of solar, wind, and battery storage assets in key states such as Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh.

The EN 156/3.3 MW turbine is part of Envision’s latest generation of Smart Wind Turbines, featuring a 156-metre rotor diameter and 140-metre hub height, optimized for Indian wind conditions. This platform has demonstrated success across global markets including the MENA region, Southeast Asia, and China, and is already proven with over 2.5 GW installed capacity in India. The turbines offer increased Annual Energy Production (AEP) and deliver one of the lowest Levelized Costs of Energy (LCoE) in the segment.

RPV Prasad, Managing Director of Envision Energy India, stated, “We are proud to partner with Evren on this landmark 501.6 MW order. This collaboration marks an important step in our journey to support large-scale industrial decarbonization and reaffirms our position as a trusted energy solutions partner. Our customer-first approach, coupled with an unwavering focus on quality and safety, continues to drive value for our clients.”

Suman Kumar, CEO of Evren, added, “This partnership with Envision is a strategic move toward realizing our 10 GW renewable energy vision for India. Their proven technology and reliable performance give us confidence as we build out projects that support India’s clean energy transition. Together, we aim to deliver measurable impact in the fight against climate change.”

The project underlines the growing demand for smart, high-capacity wind technology in India, and further cements Envision Energy’s role in supporting the country’s ambitious clean energy goals.
