KEC International has commissioned a 1,200 Megawatt (MW) power pooling substation at Khavda Renewable Park to support large scale renewable energy evacuation and grid stability. The facility forms part of ongoing efforts to integrate variable renewable generation into regional transmission networks and is intended to streamline power pooling from multiple generating sources.
