Gurugram DTCP Clears Illegal Structures, Demolishes Colonies

Gurugram's Department of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) has conducted a crackdown on illegal structures, resulting in the removal of unauthorised constructions from malls and the demolition of three colonies. This move underscores the authority's commitment to enforcing regulations and maintaining urban planning standards in the city.

The DTCP's operation targeted malls and commercial establishments where unauthorised structures had been erected without proper approvals. Several illegal constructions, including additional floors and encroachments, were identified and removed to ensure compliance with building regulations and safety norms.

In addition to addressing violations in commercial areas, the DTCP also took action against unauthorized colonies in Gurugram. Three such colonies were demolished as part of the enforcement drive, aimed at curbing the proliferation of illegal settlements and ensuring orderly urban development.

The crackdown on illegal structures and colonies by the Gurugram DTCP reflects the authority's proactive approach to addressing urban planning challenges and maintaining the integrity of the city's infrastructure. By enforcing regulations and removing encroachments, the DTCP seeks to promote sustainable development and enhance the quality of life for residents.

The action taken by the DTCP serves as a deterrent against unauthorised construction activities and reinforces the importance of adhering to regulatory norms in urban development projects. It sends a clear message that non-compliance with building regulations will not be tolerated, and strict enforcement measures will be undertaken to uphold the rule of law in Gurugram's urban landscape.
