Defense Minister Rajnath Singh to inaugurate 90 BRO projects

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled to inaugurate an impressive array of 90 infrastructure projects undertaken by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO). These projects encompass a diverse range of critical developments, including the construction of four airstrips and helipads strategically positioned along the northern and western borders of India. The extensive list of projects also includes the creation of 21 new roads, 64 vital bridges, a crucial tunnel, and the establishment of two airstrips and two helipads.

One notable highlight of the inauguration ceremony will be the opening of the Devak Bridge, a significant component of the broader infrastructure projects undertaken by the BRO. The Devak Bridge is situated on the Bishnah-Kaulpur-Phulpur road and holds strategic importance in enhancing connectivity and mobility in the region.

In addition to these infrastructure inaugurations, Minister Rajnath Singh is expected to partake in the northern tech event hosted at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Jammu during his visit to the region. This multifaceted event underscores the government's commitment to advancing not only essential infrastructure but also technological innovation, contributing to the overall development and security of the nation.
