JK Tyre Launches 2025 Edition of Shiksha Sarthi Scholarship

JK Tyre & Industries, a pioneer in the Indian tyre industry, has announced the 2025 edition of its ‘Shiksha Sarthi Scholarship Scheme’. The initiative, introduced in 2023, is designed exclusively for the daughters of heavy commercial vehicle drivers, acknowledging their role in strengthening the country’s transport and logistics sector.

Over the last two years, more than 320 young women have benefitted from the programme. This year, the initiative will be expanded to cover 500 meritorious students pursuing undergraduate education across Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Uttarakhand. Beyond financial support, the scheme underscores JK Tyre’s commitment to enabling equal opportunities and nurturing future women leaders.

Anshuman Singhania, Managing Director, JK Tyre & Industries, said, “At JK Tyre, we firmly believe that education is a powerful catalyst of social transformation. Our commercial vehicle drivers are invaluable assets to the nation, and by supporting their daughters’ education, we are honouring their contribution. With the 2025 edition of the JK Tyre Shiksha Sarthi Scholarship, we are reaffirming our commitment to ensure that no dream is left unrealised due to limited resources. Educating a girl empowers a generation and builds the foundation for a stronger, more progressive society.”

The scholarship is offered in collaboration with Buddy4Study, with applications open online at www.b4s.in/a/JKTS1, ensuring transparency and accessibility for all eligible candidates.

Alongside Shiksha Sarthi, JK Tyre runs multiple social development programmes including Arogya Sarthi (healthcare), Aajivika Sarthi (livelihood enhancement), and Jal-Vayu Sarthi (environment and water). These initiatives cover smart classrooms in government schools, ITI adoption, career guidance, health camps, skill training, livelihood programmes, and water conservation activities, reflecting the company’s broader commitment to community development.
