Nitish Directs Completion Of Kacchi Dargah Project

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has directed state officials to expedite pending works on the Kacchi Dargah project and to ensure timely completion at the earliest. He reviewed progress reports and sought a clear timeline for remaining activities during a meeting with senior officials. The chief minister emphasised adherence to quality standards and coordination among departments responsible for the project.

He asked the public works department and other agencies to resolve outstanding procurement and staffing issues that have delayed work. Officials were instructed to submit fortnightly status updates and to identify critical bottlenecks requiring immediate intervention. The administration was urged to prioritise safety, accessibility and heritage conservation in the execution of remaining tasks.

The Kacchi Dargah project is expected to enhance facilities for pilgrims and to improve local infrastructure around the shrine. Work includes restoration measures, construction of visitor amenities and upgrading of approaches to the site by concerned authorities. The chief minister noted that timely delivery would support local economic activity and civic convenience.

Officials said they will prepare a revised schedule and allocate additional resources where necessary to accelerate work without compromising standards. Departments will coordinate with municipal bodies and law enforcement to maintain traffic flow and public order during construction activity. The administration will also engage with community representatives to address concerns and to ensure transparency.

The chief minister called for regular monitoring and for swift resolution of any contractual or technical issues that emerge. He directed officials to report progress to his office and promised continued oversight until the project is completed. The government indicated that completion of the Kacchi Dargah project is a priority for local development and community welfare.
