A tender for a four-lane two km creek bridge over Dharamtar creek has been floated which costs over Rs 897 crore, which will connect Rewas and Karanja on the highway mentioned.

Another outlay of Rs 500 crore has been proposed for acquiring around 1,100 hectares for the coastal highway work. In the previous budget around Rs 3,000 crore was allocated by the state for land acquisition.
