DARPG CPGRAMS Report Shows High Disposal In April 2026

The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) released the Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) monthly report for April 2026, its 48th on Central Ministries and departments.

The report showed that Central Ministries and departments redressed 188,969 grievances in April 2026, and that for the 46th month in a row monthly disposal exceeded 100,000 cases in the Central Secretariat.

A total of 76,643 new users registered on the CPGRAMS portal in April 2026, of which 13,379 registrations originated in Uttar Pradesh. The Feedback Call Centre collected 73,601 feedbacks during the month, including 42,980 related to Central Ministries and departments. The report indicated a pendency of 81,847 public grievance cases alongside 188,577 PG cases received on the portal in April 2026.

CPGRAMS remains integrated with the Common Service Centres (CSC) portal and is available at more than 0.5 mn CSCs, associating with 0.25 mn Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs). In April 2026, 8,001 grievances were registered through the Common Service Centres. The Review Meeting Module, operationalised on 14 April 2025, facilitates Secretary-level reviews and aims to improve efficiency of redressal and citizen satisfaction. As of 30 April 2026 a total of 331 review meetings had been conducted, including 25 held in April 2026.

Appeals activity recorded 31,018 new appeals in April 2026 with 31,338 appeals disposed, leaving a pendency of 20,976 for the year. The Grievance Redressal Assessment and Index (GRAI) for April 2026 placed the Department of Telecommunications, Department of Posts and the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs among the top performers in Group A. The Department of Official Language, the Ministry of Textiles and the Ministry of Steel ranked highest in Group B. The report forms part of the 10-step CPGRAMS reform process adopted to improve disposal quality and reduce timelines.

Railways To Operate Over 300 Special Trains For Rath Yatra
