L&T Secures Hyderabad Greenfield Radial Road Phase-2 Order

Larsen & Toubro has recently secured an order related to Phase-2 of the Hyderabad Greenfield Radial Road project in Telangana. The scope includes construction of a 3.6-km-long viaduct, along with minor bridges, underpasses and culverts.

Additional works under the contract comprise service roads on both sides, retention structures, stormwater drainage systems, footpaths, cycle tracks and landscaping. The project forms part of a 22.3-km, 3+3 lane access-controlled radial road being developed in the Ranga Reddy district.

The Greenfield Radial Road is the first of several planned corridors linking Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road to the upcoming Regional Ring Road. Once completed, it is expected to significantly improve regional connectivity and support growth by enhancing access to key developments such as IT hubs, Electronic City, the Young India Skills University and the Bharat Future City.

According to L&T, the contract falls under its transportation infrastructure business vertical and is classified as a significant order, with a project value in the range of Rs 10–25 billion.
