NCR Highway Projects Worth Rs.650 Bn, Over 50% Completed

Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari announced that highway projects in the National Capital Region (NCR) are valued at ?65,000 crore, with more than 50% already completed. These projects aim to improve connectivity and infrastructure in the bustling region, catering to the increasing demands of transportation.

Gadkari highlighted the remarkable progress during a meeting of the Infrastructure Coordination Committee, emphasising the government's commitment to enhancing the country's road network. He praised the efforts of various stakeholders involved in executing these projects efficiently.

The ongoing infrastructure development in the NCR includes the construction of expressways, flyovers, and widening of existing highways to alleviate traffic congestion and facilitate smoother commutes for residents and travellers. Gadkari reiterated the importance of timely completion and quality assurance in these endeavours.

These projects not only enhance connectivity within the NCR but also contribute to the overall economic development of the region by fostering smoother movement of goods and services.
