The 20th edition of the CONSTRUCTION WORLD Architect and Builder Awards (CWAB) 2025 celebrated India’s most innovative architects, builders and developers, highlighting transformative design and construction that is shaping the nation’s future. The gala took place on September 4 at Mumbai’s Jio Convention Centre.
A night of glamour and recognition began with the lamp lighting ceremony, conducted by Hafeez Contractor, Principal Architect at Architect Hafeez Contractor and Padma Bhushan awardee; Jairam Panch, Managing Director, Turner Projects; and Pratap Padode, Founder, along with Falguni Padode, Co-Founder, ASAPP INFO Global Group.

A journey of two decades

Since its modest inception in 2006 at Taj Lands’ End, Mumbai, CWAB has grown into India’s premier platform for celebrating excellence in the built environment. From hosting the Governor of Maharashtra in 2007 to consistently recognising regional and national talent, the awards have championed projects and individuals that set benchmarks for innovation and sustainability.
