Mayfield Garden & Greenwood City will soon be taken up by Gurugram govt

MCG has instructed its representatives to start the process of acquiring Mayfield Garden and Greenwood City. Two private colonies' want to hand them over on their own terms.

However, the Greenwood City developer has consented to a meeting with MCG representatives to go over the takeover. The developers have asked for a decrease in the money to finish the two colonies' inadequate infrastructure development.

The acquisition of nine private colonies, including Greenwood City and Mayfield Garden, had been ordered by the department of town and country planning. The civic authority assumed control of all colonies on June 15 with the exception of these two. Its takeover was suspended because their developers voiced some concerns.
