He believes that, "India's economic growth has a great upside in terms of capacity and per capita consumption of steel. Decarbonising steps reflect the maturity of the industry and its long-term sustainability. The government needs to balance the need for the domestic industry to grow vis-a-vis the international prices such that other dependent industries in India are not bearing the burden."

The audience profile comprises more than 150 top developers, architects, infra planners, structural engineers, global and domestic steel producers, mining companies, decision makers of steel producers, policymakers, technical heads and steel plant heads, technology providers, steel industry associations, researchers and scholars, domestic and international banks.

Along with the practical agenda, the conference also offers a close look at the innovative and sustainable products available in India today.

It is certainly a not to be missed gathering for all the steel professionals.
