Highway Infrastructure Rises After Securing Rs 286.8 mn NHAI Contract

Highway Infrastructure rose one point zero nine per cent to Rs 44.48 after the company announced that it had secured a Rs 286.8 mn contract from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The assignment covers engagement of a user fee agency through an e-tender for the Kozhinjipatti Toll Plaza at kilometre 392+921 on the Dindigul-Samayanallur section of National Highway 44 (Old NH-7) in Tamil Nadu. The announcement was made by the company as part of routine disclosures. The contract value represents a tactical addition to the company's concession portfolio.

The scope of work comprises operation and collection of user fees at the Kozhinjipatti Fee Plaza and the upkeep and maintenance of adjacent toilet blocks, including replenishment of consumable items. The company will be responsible for day-to-day management of facilities and toll operations under the user fee agency arrangement. The project is scheduled to be executed within 90 days.
