Jaipur to Build 3 ROBs and 1 RUB to Reduce Railway Traffic

Jaipur is set to receive three new Railway Over Bridges (ROBs) and one Railway Under Bridge (RUB) as part of a major infrastructure initiative aimed at reducing traffic congestion caused by railway crossings. This development is designed to improve traffic flow and enhance safety in key areas of the city.

The ROBs will be constructed at busy intersections where railway lines intersect major roads, while the RUB will facilitate smooth traffic movement beneath the railway tracks. These projects are expected to alleviate bottlenecks and minimise delays experienced by commuters due to frequent railway crossings.

The new infrastructure will address long-standing traffic issues and improve overall efficiency in Jaipur's transportation network. The ROBs and RUB will be strategically located to serve high-traffic areas, providing much-needed relief to both road users and railway passengers.

The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) is overseeing the construction, with plans to complete the projects within specified timelines. These upgrades are anticipated to enhance connectivity, reduce travel time, and support the city?s growing transportation needs.

By implementing these improvements, Jaipur aims to boost urban mobility and contribute to its development as a major regional hub. The project aligns with broader efforts to modernise infrastructure and address urban challenges, ensuring a more efficient and reliable transport network for the city?s residents.
