Monarch-Tila consortium bags Varanasi-Howrah HSR contract

Monarch Surveyors and Engineering Consultants Pvt Ltd and Tila Consultants and Contractors Private Limited consortium has received a letter of acceptance (LOA) from National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) for preparing a detailed social impact assessment (SIA) and resettlement action plan (RAP) for the Varanasi-Howrah high-speed rail corridor.

NHSRCL invited bids for this work on 20th January this year with the completion of 6 months. The contract is valued at Rs 4.49 crore.

Scope of work involves conducting survey, field work and preparation of detailed social impact assessment (SIA), resettlement action plan (RAP) for the Varanasi-Howrah high-speed rail corridor (about 760 km).

Varanasi–Howrah High-Speed Rail Project is a 760 km high-speed rail line that will be connecting Varanasi with Kolkata via Patna. NHSRCL is preparing a detailed project report (DPR) for this project at present.

The value awarded for this work is Rs 14.5 crore, with a completion period of 150 days. NHSRCL cited the work of final alignment design, including Aerial LiDAR survey and other related works for this project, to the consortium of Growever Infra Private Limited, L N Malviya Infra Projects Pvt Ltd & Prabhavi.
