The Ministry of Railways has approved an allocation of ?288.61 billion for the construction of an 81-kilometre flyover in Sambalpur, Odisha. This substantial investment is part of a major infrastructure project aimed at improving transportation and reducing congestion in the region.

VE Commercial Vehicles recorded sales of 7,978 units in May 2026, compared to 7,401 units in May 2025, registering growth of 7.8 per cent.
