Maruti Suzuki Ties Up With IOCL for Service at Fuel Stations

Maruti Suzuki India on Monday said it has partnered with Indian Oil Corporation Ltd to set up vehicle service facilities at select fuel retail outlets across the country, aimed at making car maintenance more convenient and accessible for customers.

Under the collaboration, customers will be able to access routine maintenance, minor repairs and even major servicing at these facilities. The initiative is expected to further strengthen Maruti Suzuki’s service network, which already comprises more than 5,780 service touchpoints across 2,882 cities in India.

Ram Suresh Akella, executive officer (service) at Maruti Suzuki India, said the partnership with Indian Oil, one of India’s Maharatna public sector enterprises, would help the company leverage IOCL’s extensive national footprint to take after-sales services to locations frequently visited by customers. He added that the collaboration represents a meaningful step in bringing together the mobility and energy sectors to deliver an enhanced customer care experience.

Saumitra P Srivastava, director (marketing) at Indian Oil Corporation, said the company remains focused on improving customer experience at fuel stations through value-added services. With a network of over 41,000 fuel stations across India, IOCL is well positioned to bring essential services closer to consumers, he said, adding that the partnership would integrate automotive maintenance services alongside the company’s energy offerings.
