MAJOR Debuts OPTIMUMWIRE Thermo Screen at CONEXPO 2026

MAJOR will debut the OPTIMUMWIRE Thermo Screen at CONEXPO/CON-AGG 2026 at Booth C32269 in the Las Vegas Convention Centre's Central Hall. The new screen media is engineered for extreme heat environments and is intended for demanding applications including asphalt recycling, hot clinker and quicklime screening and mineral processing. Visitors will be able to examine the technology and discuss suitability for high temperature operations with MAJOR representatives.

Designed to withstand temperatures over 2,192 degrees Fahrenheit (1,200 degrees Celsius), the Thermo Screen helps operations maintain uptime and reduce costly maintenance. It addresses heat-related blinding, pegging and clogging while creating a self-cleaning action that improves material flow. The company presents the development as extending its expertise to high-heat applications so operators can work with one trusted screen media provider across a site.

MAJOR noted that an asphalt production plant reported up to 35 per cent higher throughput and 40 per cent lower maintenance costs after replacing traditional screens with Thermo Screens on all decks, an upgrade that also improved screen media durability. Traditionally MAJOR has used polyurethane to connect wires in its tensioned and modular screen media, but polyurethane can melt in high heat and reduce performance. To overcome this challenge the company developed a screen media option that connects using its proprietary OPTIMUMWIRE, which is produced in-house and not altered in composition to ensure consistent quality and reliable performance.

The OPTIMUMWIRE Thermo Screen expands MAJOR's product line alongside FLEX-MAT Tensioned, FLEX-MAT Modular and traditional woven wire to offer producers a complete solution for varied screening needs. The company also provides on-site screening performance assessment and training seminars on screen maintenance and screening efficiency to help producers increase screening performance and profitability. Attendees seeking further information are invited to visit MAJOR's website or speak with representatives at the exhibition.
