Addressing the Independence Day event at Assam Rifles ground, he highlighted the BJP-IPFT government's commitment to health, education, infrastructure, and farmer welfare in the 2023-24 budget.

Saha affirmed the state's development trajectory, citing an 8.5% growth in the previous fiscal year. The government aims to exceed the projected national figure, aiming for 8% annual growth in 2023-24. He emphasized increased allocations for health, education, agriculture, and tribal welfare.

While the national real GDP growth for 2023-24 is projected at 6.5%, Saha detailed Tripura's comprehensive approach for overall advancement, including indigenous people's welfare, women's empowerment, industry, and infrastructure.
