Waaree Becomes Main Principal Partner Of Rajasthan Royals

Waaree Energies Limited (Waaree) has been announced as the Main Principal Partner of Rajasthan Royals (RR) for the upcoming season, with the Waaree logo to feature on the front of the official matchday jersey and training kits. The tie-up links India’s renewable energy expansion with a leading cricket franchise and signals a strategic move to raise public awareness of clean energy. The partnership will see joint initiatives aimed at engaging fans and communities around sustainability.

The two organisations said the alliance reflects shared commitments to innovation and sustainable development and aims to inspire wider adoption of renewable solutions. Waaree was founded in 1990 and has positioned itself as a global energy transition company with operations across India and over 25 international markets. The company offers manufacturing, EPC services, green hydrogen solutions, battery energy storage systems, green energy infrastructure and data centre support.

Waaree operates advanced manufacturing facilities with a total solar PV module capacity of 22.3 GW worldwide and a solar cell capacity of up to 5.4 GW, and it will leverage this expertise to support grassroots programmes promoted by RR. Company leaders indicated that the partnership is intended to make the energy transition visible and inclusive, taking messaging from industry corridors to the public. The franchise described the deal as a reflection of its mission to transform society through cricket and innovation.

The collaboration is expected to drive visibility for renewable technologies while enabling community engagement initiatives and fan-facing activities during the season.
