BEML Opens Aerospace SEZ Warehouse Near Bengaluru

Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) on Monday inaugurated a cutting-edge warehousing facility at the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board’s (KIADB) Aerospace Special Economic Zone (SEZ), located near Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru.

Spanning 0.12 acres, the facility represents a critical milestone in BEML’s push to support India’s aerospace and defence ambitions.

According to BEML Chairman and Managing Director Shantanu Roy, the new warehouse will serve as a strategic hub for advanced manufacturing, Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) services, and global exports. The SEZ plan also includes a 20-acre dedicated manufacturing unit for next-generation aerostructures, drones, components, and aggregates, reinforcing Karnataka’s efforts to build a world-class aerospace ecosystem.
