India's First Cable- Stayed Rail Bridge Ready in J&K

Indian Railways has completed the Anji Khad Bridge, India’s first cable-stayed rail bridge, in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district. Part of the Udhampur-Srinagar- Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) Project, the 725.5-metre-long bridge connects Katra and Reasi, with a 193-metre-high pylon towering 331 metres above the riverbed.
