Jyotiraditya Scindia aims to make India an international aviation hub

More wide-body aircraft, anchor carriers at certain airports, and a synergy between domestic and international departures, according to Union Minister, Jyotiraditya Scindia, are needed for India to become a major international aviation centre.

After being severely impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, the nation's civil aviation industry is on the mend and is expected to see 400 million passengers fly in the upcoming years.

There must be an international hub in India, and certain airports must have anchor airlines. Additionally, he pointed out that airlines need wide-body planes to fly people across borders.

The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation has awarded the first construction-related consultancy contract for the Lucknow Metro East West Corridor to a joint venture of AYESA Ingenieria Arquitectura SAU and AYESA India Pvt Ltd. Interarch Building Solutions Limited reported unaudited results for the third quarter and nine months ended 31 December 2025, recording strong revenue growth driven by execution and a robust order book.
